We enjoying seeing children in our office!
Starting your children off with preventative oral health care is recommended right after birth! Start oral health care with your infant early at home by wiping your baby's gums after feedings with a washcloth or wet gause pad. Then begin brushing your baby's teeth when their first tooth erupts. Use a soft, child-sized toothbrush. Refrain from putting your baby to sleep with a bottle. The sugars left behind from juice and milk can be damaging to teeth.
Your child should go visit the dentist about 6 month after their first tooth emerges or by age one. This is a great time to make sure that your child is on the right track to a keeping a healthy smile.
